The Terra Veris Initiative

Launched in 2017 with the financial support of the BC government and the mobilization of several public and private partners, Terra Veris’ governmental mandate is to increase the number of clinical trials conducted by companies in BC, facilitate collaboration between the life sciences sector’s various stakeholders, and accelerate the development of innovative treatments.

A solid partnership

Underpinning the Initiative is a partnership consisting of five health and social service organizations from BC and eight pharmaceutical companies.

Terra Veris BC acts as a coordination office by rallying behind the efforts of its partners in order to stimulate private investment and promote excellence in the conduct of phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical trials.

Our projects benefit all life science research stakeholders and have positive economic and social impacts for BC and Canada.
